Maddock, Abraham 1713-1785

Abraham Maddock was admitted an Attorney in 1733 and continued in that profession till 1757, when he was ordained Deacon at Bugden. He received Priest's Orders in 1759. He began his ministry as curate to Mr. Hervey at Weston-Favel until a short time after Mr. Hervey's death (1760). From there he went to the curacy of Weldon for 10 months. He next ministered at Kettering from 1761 to 1770. In 1773 he entered upon the curacy of Creation and remained in that ministry until his death in 1785.
